About the Program

The Department of Health has funded the Victorian Palliative Medicine Training Program (VPMTP) to provide a coordinated state-wide palliative medicine training program to address the training requirements for specialist palliative medicine physicians, physicians in other specialties, and general practitioners, in order to build and sustain a high-quality palliative medicine workforce in Victoria.
