The Victorian Palliative Medicine Training Program is the fund holder of the Victorian Fellow positions. The number available varies each year. These positions are only open for doctors who have completed, or who are in their last term of their advanced training in Palliative Medicine through the VPMTP and are about to embark on a career as a Palliative Medicine Specialist in Victoria.
Doctors who have completed their Advanced Training in Palliative Care through the VPMTP, or who are in their last term, can apply for a Fellowship in Palliative Medicine to build their education, management or research knowledge and skills before making the transition from Registrar to Consultant.
